What is CRO?

CRO (yet another acronym), otherwise known as Conversion Rate Optimisation - is the process of increasing the percentage of website visitors who take a desired action—whether filling out a form, making a subscription or making a purchase.

A conversion is the broad term used for visitors that have fulfilled a website’s intended goal. ‘Macro-conversions’ would be considered a primary goal, with smaller ‘micro’ goals that may happen before a user complete the ‘macro’ goal such as a purchase or a subscription to a service.

Conversion Rate Optimisation is an integral part of our process in ensuring that our client’s website is a key asset in the development and growth of their business.

Instead of just bringing in more website traffic, you work to optimise your website to get more conversions from the traffic you already have. Whether your goal is to increase the number of visitors who contact you or buy a product, there are specific steps you can take to get a more desirable conversion rate.
