What is the Front-End of a website?
What is Front-End?
The front-end of a website is the practice of converting data to a graphical interface; allowing the user to view and interact with data through digital interaction.
The front-end is basically the opposite of the back-end. It’s all the components of a website that a visitor can see (pages, images, content etc).
While web design is the way a website looks, front-end development is how that design actually gets implemented on the web.
Front-end developers link together the world of design and technology, packaging up the utility of the back-end in an inviting way for users to interact with. Core elements of front-end development include design/layout, content, buttons, images, navigation and internal links.
- What is the front-end of your website, or what is a front-end web developer?
Typically, there are two parts to a website, both the front-end and the back-end. And both together will create the website that you're viewing.
So we've got another video on back-end development which you can check out by looking up the question What Is Back-End development? But front-end development basically takes care of the front-end part using the information passed from the back-end of the website. So it's everything that you visually see. So hopefully that's answered your question, what is front-end of your website.
